About Me

I am Adriana María Garriga López, a cultural anthropologist, educator, and multidisciplinary artist born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

I live in Deerfield Beach with my husband and our dog. We moved to Florida in 2022 after living and working in Michigan for twelve years. Before that, I lived in New York City. 

I hold a Ph.D in Anthropology from Columbia University in New York (2010).
